To be refreshingly different.

Lots of people & businesses, including the Fresh team have had a bad experience with recruitment. It seems to have become a dirty word. People almost start to back away when they hear the word recruitment. So, we thought we’d apply the internal model of recruitment, as an alternative to employers using agencies or doing it themselves. We want to share our knowledge, help employers be better at recruitment and treat people as we want to be treated ourselves.

We decided to break the stereotypes and stigma surrounding the term recruitment, we have done this with determination, a smile and process that holds the clients at the core of its results. Our business is based upon our mission “to be refreshingly different” and we have also started to build new ideals into our business mantra.

We are constantly trying to encourage women to step up in the work place, and to strive to achieve their career aspirations. We believe that it is important for women to start to believe a new model of opportunity that they have access to. Within our business we aim to inform businesses on how to encourage and help women to develop within their work environment, and we have had some amazing feedback and results.

Now…

Let’s talk about the term model, and how we can redesign its meaning for women. Many of us within the Fresh Perspective team, have often struggled to conform to the medias ideals of what is a perfect model of a women. What we are fed is often photo-shopped, the 100th take of a photo-shoot and in reality a fake perfect moment. These images can create a negative view for all women out there, and a damaged self esteem is not conducive to a positive experience of the working world. How you feel about yourself will effect how you see yourself, and often this leads to a stunted view on what job applications or opportunities you feel you are worthy of applying for.

In reality there is no one size fits all, which is why we are here to encourage you to go for that job application, wear that top, do what makes you happy.
