Confidence is something that you may not realise is in your business tool box; it’s a skill that you can utilise in your business (and personal life) to move forward with your goals, progression and expansion.
How confident would you say you are?
Self-confidence is as simple as knowing what you do well and what your value is – it’s important to have a healthy level of self-esteem, making sure you’re on an even keel, rather than being too arrogant or too insecure about your personal worth.
Some studies suggest that self-confidence is potentially even genetic, while others have found that confidence starts in primary school and determines success as adults in the workforce.
Have you ever considered how your self-esteem has affected your career or your business?
Another benefit of confidence in the workplace or your business, includes the idea of delusional optimism; which manifests itself when entrepreneurs ignore obstacles or view obstacles as an opportunity to get better rather than slow them down. If you’re a new business owner or even just starting out in a more involved job or career move, confidence and optimism are the keys to success. You’ve heard of fake it until you make it but having true confidence and faith in what you’re doing or the business you have created makes all the difference in your eventual success.
We would like to know how much confidence you have in your career or business?
As you can see on social media, adverts, and newspapers etc., people are making headway into their new year business and personal goals – confidence plays a large part in whether you will achieve your goals, and we would like to give you three tips to improve your confidence –
This tip may seem very obvious, but when you think positively it alters your outlook on your day and what you are working towards. We at fresh truly believe in the Law of Attraction.
It’s hard to be confident in yourself if you believe that you won’t do well at something. Beat that feeling by preparing yourself as much as possible – think about taking an exam or when you have been for a job interview: if you haven’t studied or prepared, you may not have as much confidence in your abilities to do well in that situation. Think of life as your exam or a job interview and prepare yourself.
Speak slowly and clearly!
This is such a simple thing, but it can have a big difference in how others perceive you and how you perceive yourself. A person in authority, with authority, speaks slowly – it demonstrates confidence. A person who feels that they aren’t worth listening to will speak quickly and quietly because they don’t want to keep others waiting on something not worthy of listening to. Your words are important, make others hear you!
These are just a few tips to improve your confidence in your business environment or personal life and we hope you’ve found them useful!
