A look back at the night

Ah, what a night it was! The Freshies Charity Awards Evening in 2O23 will forever be etched in our memories as a beacon of community spirit and generosity. Held at the picturesque Rivington Barn, it was a blend of celebration, music, and goodwill that warmed the hearts of everyone present.

Picture this: the barn adorned with twinkling lights, bustling with folks from all corners of the North West. It was a gathering of businesses, big and small, coming together for a common cause – to support our chosen charities: Backup Northwest, The Anderton Centre, Trust House Lancashire, and the Endeavour Project.

The atmosphere was electric, with the rhythmic beats of sax and bongos filling the air, setting the stage for an evening of fun and cheer. Awards were handed out, speeches were made, but it wasn’t just about the accolades; it was about the stories behind them. Stories of resilience, compassion, and the incredible impact these charities were making in our communities.

And oh, the generosity! We managed to raise a whopping £16,OOO throughout the night – a testament to the  kindness of everyone in attendance. Knowing that this money would be split among our chosen causes, fuelling their missions and touching countless lives, filled us all with a sense of pride and purpose.

But amidst the formalities, there were moments of pure joy and spontaneity. Singing and dancing broke out and the drinks were flowing. It was a reminder that even in our busy lives, there's always time to come together, let loose, and make a difference.
